Folk Monthly Conference, Oct 2010

On 16 October 2010 thirty four delegates representing traditional performance arts organisations across the Midlands met at the Nettle Hill Conference Centre near Coventry to discuss their work.  A wide range of ideas and views were discussed following presentations, including the interim findings of the Folk Monthly survey.  Throughout there was a strong leaning towards more collaboration and co-operation, and though small moves in this direction have already been made, the mechanisms whereby it can be achieved are not yet in place.
