The beginning of April is a time for balderdash and buffoonery, and traditional tales are crammed full of these under-appreciated virtues.
So join our resident storytellers Roisin Murray and Rachel Murray (no relation) as they delve into the nooks and crannies of the story warehouse to find tales that may contain wisdom, but a wisdom that is well hidden beneath layers of tomfoolery.
Storytelling Cafe provides a friendly, candle-lit atmosphere and top class entertainment. Tea, coffee, soft drinks, cake and some savoury refreshment will be on sale, and we invite you to bring your own wine, beer or spirits. We would ask, ever so politely, that you don't bring your own picnic to consume at the cafe...our catering committee will get depressed that their offerings are being ignored and will no longer be able to serve other members of the audience, which would be a real tragedy.
