Also a songwriter, fiddler and music therapist, Nancy has been traditional song tutor at the Folkworks Summer Schools, Newcastle University and in Australia, New Zealand and North America. A thorough and attentive teacher inspired by great traditional singers past and present, she will explore approaches to repertoire, vocal techniques such as decoration and tone, storytelling, authenticity and emotion in folk song.
