This season of three monthly training sessions is aimed at people who have already done some training or told stories elsewhere and are now ready to move on into more skills development. Moving On is a development programme to improve techniques and confidence in the unique art of storytelling.

The sessions are led by Graham Langley who uses a wide range of performance training techniques. The curriculum is based on sound performance theory, drawing on 40 years of Graham’s performing and teaching. The curriculum is constantly revisited, building the storyteller’s own performance style and capacity and is suitable for entry at any level above absolute beginners. Sessions are usually attended by 10 to 15 storytellers of varying capability.

Moving On leads participants to performance opportunities at Storytelling Cafes or other regular storytelling sessions in the Midlands.

WHO?
Suitable for experienced storytellers or people who have previously told stories but do not have performance experience.
