Peak Performance
- a monthly training school for storytellers

Ernest Bailey Centre, New Street,
Matlock, Derbyshire DE4 3FE map

These sessions are run once a month for storytellers who want to drive their storytelling forward. They are led by Graham Langley who uses a wide range of performance training techniques. The curriculum is based on sound performance theory, drawing on Stanislavski, Brecht, Laban and much more, based on 40 years of Graham’s performing and teaching. The curriculum is constantly revisited, building the storyteller’s own performance style and capacity. Sessions are usually attended by 10 to 15 storytellers of varying capacity. Participants have performance opportunities at Storytelling Cafes or other regular storytelling sessions in the Midlands.

WHO?
Suitable for experienced storytellers or people who have previously told stories but do not have performance experience. Peak Performance is not suitable for beginners – look out for Step into Storytelling courses.
