Karen Tweed day workshop, October 2010

This workshop took simple strong melodies from the folk music genre and explored the possibilities of harmony, countermelody, rhythmic and emotive devices.  From polka to polska, waltz to tango and beyond - we were guided through a dynamic range of ideas to take away and implement in our own music.

At the end of the day we put everything together - you can listen to the result!
