Trad Arts Team news May 2020

We miss the creative and social energy of getting together during Covid-19, but under the cover of lockdown the Trad Arts Team are keeping many sessions going through Zoom.  It's a bit clunky sometimes but there seems to be plenty of patience amongst our participants and we seem to be able to generate our usual sociable ambience.  We are having some trials with Storytelling Cafe and we hope to bring a live event on Zoom in June (the potential rhyme there bodes well for publicity!)

In the meantime we are working on a couple of books.  Creating new songs is a good way to vent your humour or anger at the current situation.  A PDF version of our new Political Songster can be downloaded from here - we are already preparing a supplement so keep on creating songs and sending them to us.

In our May email we included links to our online May sessions.  If you aren't on our mailing list already then you can join by completing the box of the left of this web page - you'll have to click on a confirmation email to be included in future mailings.

Here is a list of the May sessions - if you have any problems getting in, or if you have any comments or suggestions, please drop us an email.  This is as new to us as it is to you.
